Tracula

Tracula is a pattern based midi sequencer that allows musicians and song writers to constuct a track very quickly using only chord sequences and instrument patterns. It uses the Windows internal midi system so no other hardware is needed to make great tracks. Tracula is rather different from other midi sequencers so we strongly recommend you try before you buy.

In essence you

  • Decide what the structure of you song will be
  • Set the chords for each section
  • Select the drum patterns for each section
  • Choose the patterns to be played by each instrument
  • Play it


    • This is an example of a raw tune created in under fifteen minutes with Tracula. The raw tune was exported to a multi track recorder ( in this case a Tascam 2488 ). Vocals, extra cellos and lead guitar lines were added to produce this version.
