Creating a Drum Pattern Arrangement file on a PC to be downloaded later.

Drum Pattern Arrangement files can be created and edited on your PC. You can build up a library of patterns and swap them with other users.

I would recommend making a folder under My Documents called something like “My Micro BR Files\Drum Pattern Arrangements“.
To create a new arrangement start the editor. It will open with an empty arrangement.

Edit the pattern in the ”Arrangement 1” tab.
If you want to, copy it to the other arrangements changing the basic pattern name. This is a quick and easy way of getting five different versions of the arrangement in one file using only a few button clicks.

Select “Save“ from the file menu and save the file in the directory you have created.

The BOSS Micro BR always expects the arrangement files to have the same name ”ARRANGE3.BR1“. You have the choice of giving each file a meaningful name then renaming it as you transfer it or keeping them as ARRANGE3.BR1 and saving each in a folder with a long meaningful name.

This is the approach that we use so the samples folder contains
”\Straight 12 Bar Tempo 130 Blues-1 approx 3.10\ARRANGE3.BR1“
and
”\Straight 12 Bar Tempo 130 Rock-1 approx 3.10\ARRANGE3.BR1“.
