Drum Pattern Arranger

Drum Pattern Arranger is a utility used to allow the creation and editing of drum arrangements for the Boss Micro BR.

The Micro BR is a fantastic portable four track recorder with a built in drum machine offering a lot of beat patterns. These patterns can be assembled to give a complete drum track without using any of the audio tracks, effectively making the machine seem like a five track recorder. The main strength of the Micro BR is its diminuitive size; it is tiny. But this makes it a little fiddly to edit the long drum pattern sequences. The Drum Pattern Arranger program allows you to edit these arrangements on your PC and use play them back on your Micro BR.

In essence you

  • Connect the Mocro BR to your PC using USB
  • Open the song file and that and the drum pattern arrangement
  • Edit the order in which the patterns will be played
  • Save the file back to the Boss Micro BR
  • Disconnect the Boss Micro BR
  • Play it
